TO: Mr. Eddie D. Walton Private, First Class, Spec. Fourth Class Roswell, New Mexico

{*28} Supplementing Opinion No. 36-95 written by me to Mr. A. C. de Baca, Chief Clerk, Motor Vehicle Division, dated January 18, 1941, I will state that after conference with you, supplemented by your sworn affidavit, that you are entitled to soldiers' exemption as provided in Section 1, Chapter 44, New Mexico Session Laws of 1933.

I, Eddie D. Walton, being first duly sworn, depose and say that I am a World War Veteran; that I enlisted in the United States Army on April 14, 1917; that I have been on active duty the majority of the time since my enlistment: that I came to the State of New Mexico in 1927 and it has been my intention since 1927 to make this state my residence.
