TO: Mr. Ed L. Manson, Commissioner, New Mexico Public Service Commission, Santa Fe, New Mexico

We have your letter of August 21, 1943, wherein you request an opinion concerning whether members of the New Mexico Public Service Commission are required under the New Mexico Public Utility Act to give bond.

I have examined the statute pertaining to the New Mexico Public Service Commission and Commissioners, and am therefore advising you that none of these statutes require the giving of a bond by the members of the New Mexico Public Service Commission.
