We have your letter of October 17, 1944, and the enclosed letter from Viola K. Reynolds, County Clerk of Colfax County. In her letter she asks whether or not it is necessary, in preparing a list of registration for the County Chairmen, to include the party affiliation in such list.
Please be advised that the Supreme Court, in the case of George L. Reese, Jr. vs. John J. Dempsey, et al, held that it was necessary, in making up such list, to show the party affiliation.
